Doubled Sales Without Changing a Single Package — What One Floor Display Achieved

Sales doubled, reordered within 10 months

Client Background

Daniel is the founder of a private-label pressed powder brand in the USA. His products were decent in quality, but they used generic market packaging — display cartons or single boxes — with almost no shelf presence, squeezed into whatever space others left behind.

When he came to us, his requirement was clear: he did not want to change the packaging. Redesigning packaging would mean new molds, new printing, and new inventory — costs and lead times he could not afford. What he wanted was to make his products “stand up” on the shelf without touching the packaging.

The Solution

We did not change any of the client’s existing packaging. Instead, we reorganized the powders by color and performance into a floor display system:

  • 5 product types × 4 shades each, with each shade displayed separately so shoppers can find their color at a glance;
  • 6 units of selling stock plus 1 tester per shade, so customers can try colors on the spot without waiting for a sales assistant;
  • A follow-up compact stand for single product types, fitting small retail points with limited space.

The core logic of this system: the packaging stays the same, but the way it is displayed changes — from “scattered across the shelf” to “occupying a fixed branded zone.”

Project Timeline

  • Feb 2025: solution confirmed and order placed;
  • Mar 2025: order delivered;
  • May 2025: goods arrived in the USA and rolled out to distributors;
  • Dec 2025: client reordered;
  • Mar 2026: during a review visit, the client confirmed powder sales had doubled.

From order to shelf, then to reorder and verified sales growth, this complete timeline is itself the most convincing result.

Two Key Reasons Behind the 2x Growth

1. A fixed display location = brand presence. Distributors and retail points placed the powder in a prominent, dedicated spot — far more visible and premium than competitors’ scattered products, and easy for shoppers to find.

2. Restocking frequency doubled, stockouts visible at a glance. Previously, stock would run out unnoticed, and displays were scattered. With this display, selling stock is clear at a glance — distributor and retailer replenishment frequency increased 2x.

Why This Builds Trust

For supermarkets: foot traffic was never the problem — converting it into beauty sales is. This space-efficient floor display combines a fixed location, visible stock, and on-site testing to drive impulse purchases.

For brand owners: generic packaging doesn’t need a redesign. One display system builds a branded zone and lifts sales volume and repeat purchases — the most cost-effective brand upgrade.

For chain stores: from large stores to small retail points, one product system extends into stands of different sizes — keeping branding consistent across 3–10+ stores while staying flexible.
